1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions for refunds on DPOS subscription services. We want you to be satisfied with our service, and we're committed to fair and transparent refund practices.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancel anytime before your next billing date
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused days in the current period
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Full refund within 14 days of purchase if not satisfied
- Pro-rata refund available within the first 3 months
- No refunds after 3 months of the subscription period
3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted for:
- Service not matching the advertised features
- Extended service outages (beyond our SLA)
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Account closure within the refund period
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Setup or onboarding fees
- Custom development or integration work
- Training sessions already delivered
- SMS/email credits already used
- Third-party service fees (payment processing, etc.)
5. How to Request a Refund
- Contact our support team at billing@dpos.co.ke
- Provide your account details and reason for refund
- Include any relevant transaction references
- Allow 5-7 business days for review
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- M-Pesa refunds: 1-3 business days
- Card refunds: 5-10 business days (depends on bank)
- Bank transfers: 3-5 business days
7. Account Termination
Upon refund and account termination:
- You will have 30 days to export your data
- Access will be revoked after the export period
- Data will be deleted according to our retention policy
8. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- Request escalation to a supervisor
- Provide additional supporting information
- Final decisions are made within 14 business days
