1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of the DPOS platform. All users must comply with this policy to maintain a safe and reliable service for everyone.
2. Permitted Uses
DPOS may be used for:
- Legitimate business operations and transactions
- Managing customers, inventory, and sales
- Processing payments in compliance with applicable laws
- Marketing communications with proper consent
- Data analysis for business improvement
3. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use DPOS for:
3.1 Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates local, national, or international law
- Processing transactions for illegal goods or services
- Money laundering or terrorist financing
- Tax evasion or fraudulent financial activities
3.2 Harmful Content
- Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications
- Phishing or attempting to deceive users
- Hosting or distributing illegal content
3.3 System Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access
- Interfering with service availability (DoS attacks)
- Reverse engineering or copying the platform
- Circumventing security measures
- Excessive automated requests that burden the system
3.4 Data Misuse
- Collecting personal data without proper consent
- Selling or sharing customer data without authorization
- Using data for purposes beyond those disclosed
- Failing to protect sensitive information
4. Marketing Communications
When using DPOS marketing features, you must:
- Obtain proper consent before sending marketing messages
- Provide clear opt-out mechanisms
- Honor unsubscribe requests promptly
- Comply with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
- Accurately identify yourself as the sender
5. Biometric Data Use
If using biometric features (gym module), you must:
- Obtain explicit written consent from individuals
- Clearly explain how biometric data will be used
- Provide alternative access methods for those who decline
- Securely store and protect biometric templates
- Delete biometric data when no longer needed
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request for corrective action
- Temporary suspension of services
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement
- Legal action for damages
7. Reporting Violations
Report suspected violations to abuse@dpos.co.ke. Include details and evidence where possible.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP as needed. Continued use of DPOS after changes constitutes acceptance.
